🎄 Pennington Christmas Event – Friday 12 December 2025, 5pm–9pm 🎄Get ready for a magical evening in the heart of Pennington!
This community-led event, organised by Lymington Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club, in partnership with the Christmas in Pennington Working Group, and supported by local organisations, is bringing festive cheer to our village.
✨ What’s happening?
Live band and choir performances
Food and gift stalls in The Square, along Priestlands Road, and inside St Mark’s Community Church Hall
Hop On Inn festive bus
Coles Fun Fair rides
Street performers
Christmas lights switch-on and more!
🎅 Santa will be making a special appearance too!
✅ Want to get involved?
We’re inviting local traders and charities to book a stall and be part of this festive celebration — stalls start from just £40.
You’ll need to bring:
Your own stall setup (including gazebo or shelter)
Power for any lights or equipment
Your own public liability insurance
Current stalls already confirmed include:
Hop On Inn bus, Shelley's Snax bar, Hillside Farm cheese stall (with over 80 cheeses!), Robert's Dorset pork scratchings and mulled wine & cider, Hay Coffee, Unforgettable Crafts, Sally's Confectionery, Lymington Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club, The Cookie Queen, Gelato Dreams, Croc Charms, and plenty more small independents, like a hair tinsel stall.

Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with agreement from the event organisers.
Road closure notice:
To keep everyone safe, the following roads will be closed 15:00–22:00:

Priestlands Road
Kerry Close
Diversions will be signposted via Wainsford Road, Pound Road, Mead Road, Meadow Road, Whitaker Crescent, Gordon Road, and Oliver Road.
