Join us for our first annual Penn State Digester Day! Anaerobic digesters are an opportunity to produce biogas (also known as "renewable natural gas") on the farm to use for heat, power, or other purposes, and are set to becoming an increasingly important source of renewable energy. Digester Day will host informational sessions from experts that detail the benefits of on-farm digesters opportunities for biogas production in the renewable natural gas market, potential funding programs, and incentives.Digester Day will share the experiences of current on-farm digester operators in a roundtable panel discussion. Following lunch, there will be an in-person tour of the newly constructed Penn State digester.
