The Susquehanna County Historical Society will host a bus trip to the Penn Museum in Philadelphia on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The Penn Museum is home to over a million artifacts and archaeological finds shared with the public since 1887. The Museum houses ten galleries with focuses on Africa, Ancient Egypt & Nubia, Asia, Eastern Mediterranean, Etruscan Italy, Greece, Mexico & Central America, Middle East, Native American Voices and Rome.The cost of the trip is $125 and includes bus transportation and driver gratuity, admission to the museum, a guided museum highlights tour and lunch voucher. Participants will receive a 15% discount in the museum shop. The bus will leave Montrose at 7 a.m. and will return at approximately 7:30 p.m. after a brief stop for dinner at the participant’s expense.
