Penfield Recreation and Penfield Rotary will collect used bicycles to donate to R Community Bikes, Inc., a Rochester-based organization that repairs and distributes bicycles free of charge to Rochester’s needy children and adults. Its mission is to meet the basic transportation needs of those in the community who depend on bikes to get to work and training sessions, as well as for recreation. More information can be found at their website at www.rcommunitybikes.net. Drive-through drop-off at Penfield Community Center, 1985 Baird Rd. Receipts will be provided documenting all donations. This event is free and open to the public.
