About this Event

Pen Up or Shut Up: Battle Poetry / Compliments Only Edition

When - Friday September 26,2025

Where - Sanction

Time - 7pm - 10pm ( Doors open at 7 / Battles start at 8:07 sharp )

Admission - $15

6 poets / artist ( 1v1 , 1v1 , 1v1 = 6 poets artist )

Battles - Battles are set up 1v1 ( equaling 3 battles in total)

Battles - Consist of 2 rounds each ( equaling 6 rounds in total)

How - 1st set of poets / artist will perform their first round piece. After the first poet / artist is done with their piece, they will receive a score from selected judges. After the first poet / artist has received their score then the 2nd poet / artist will perform their piece and receive a score to complete the round.

If Tie - The crowd will be the determining factor for the winner.
