This workshop is for anyone and everyone. Do you have back pain? Poor posture? A weak core? Are you postpartum (no matter how many years)? Do you have pelvic floor dysfunction (incontinence, prolapse, diastasis recti)? If you answered yes to any of the above, or are looking to have a better understanding of these important muscle groups, this workshop is for you. We will go over a proper breathing pattern, and how everything essentially begins with our diaphragm. Exercising the diaphragm is important, and we will discuss this.
We will deep dive into the connection between your diaphragm, core, and pelvic floor, and why we need all of them to function optimally (hint: one can’t function properly without the others!).
The workshop will include exercises to strengthen and improve function in your deep core (transverse abdominal muscles) as well as your pelvic floor muscles.
You will walk away with a better understanding of of the importance of these muscles groups, and exercises you can easily add to your routine.
About your host, Monica Mikolajczyk: she is a certified personal trainer (NASM), with a specialization in pelvic floor and core training will be offering a 2 hour pelvic floor/core workshop.
