Most of us really aren’t sure what we’re doing with our pelvic floor muscles during breath, exercise, yoga practice or every day life. Studies show that the majority of people are using these muscles improperly, especially when stressed or anxious. A clearer comprehension of how these muscles work can help prevent and cure many common ailments and enhance bodily function dramatically.You will leave this workshop with a clearer understanding of your pelvic floor muscle function and how you can enrich your yoga practice to both engage and release these muscles for optimal function.
Class will include a 45’ lecture format followed by practical application of pelvic floor muscle techniques in both breathing exercises and yoga poses.
This class is suitable for beginners but instructors and advanced practitioners will benefit also.
