We gather to collectively give reverence to our wombs and honour all that they do for us. Womb yoga, ecstatic womb breathwork, tea & more.
About this Event

Pelvic Bowl Sacred Steam Circles are a chance to cultivate a deeper relationship with the womb.

In this gathering, your herbal steam blend is tailored to your specific needs, and you are invited to imbue the herbs with your personal intention / prayer / request.

Also known as "yoni steams", "bajos", and "chai-yok", Pelvic Bowl Steams have been used for centuries around the world to address painful or irregular periods, fibroids, infertility, cysts, cervical stenosis, endometriosis, and vaginal dryness. If you've been curious about the ancient practice of steaming, this is an opportunity to gather with a group of women and try it out.

Each gathering includes ritual, meditations, Womb Yoga, somatic exercises, a sharing circle, tea, and chocolate, all to support energetically cleansing the womb.

Your contribution is $40 and includes the herbal blend for the steam and nourishing Womb Tea.

What you need:

* a completed intake from (completed by 1 week before the circle)

* an open heart and mind

* your intention

* a long skirt with a wide hem (to allow you to sit over the steam stool)

Register to reserve your spot; there are only 6 seats available.

Yes, the uterus absolutely does cleanse itself, and this happens during menstruation. However, sometimes due to excess tension, trauma, and/or lack of circulation, the endometrial lining doesn't shed completely. This can lead to a build-up of old blood in the uterus, and can exacerbate tension in the area. Pelvic Bowl Steams help to increase circulation and relax tension to enable the uterus to fully shed the endometrial lining during the period.

No - the steam is not hot enough to burn and it does not hurt. You are encouraged to test the steam on your inner arm before beginning, and to adjust your sitting position as necessary to maintain optimal comfort.
