Greece is a wonderful country, but there are parts that are truly special. In decades of visiting, we had a chance to paddle and explore the land of the gods in detail. Peloponesse, Kythira, and Crete are on our menu in October. Greek people are known, and personally experienced, to be one of the kindest and open-hearted people, they are masters in preparing excellent and diverse dishes and magicians of sweets and pastry.
Still undiscovered and very peaceful, even in the summer season, those locations are a paddler’s dream come true. Besides numerous pristine beaches waiting to be discovered, its natural beauty always impressed us, no matter how many times we visited before.
From the west to the east coast, we will paddle white sandy beaches and blue lagoons protected from the wind by the high mountain cliffs of the Peloponesse, we can explore a unique Kythera in detail or the mighty western part of Crete. To the ones who love to indulge in wellness, we'll take it easy, stay in a wonderful Minoan-style five-star hotel on the beach, and besides learning to surf sup and kitesurf, exploring the ancient places and traditions, also enjoy massage and other therapies. No matter which Island we choose, we will stay in cozy local boutique accommodations and get blown away by extraordinary culinary and wine choices.
