About this Event
Take a well-deserved break with our weekly Carer Walking Group at the beautiful Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens, paired with a relaxing coffee catch-up at The Botanic Gardens Cafe. This gentle 1½-hour meetup offers Carers a warm and welcoming space to unwind, connect, and take time for themselves.
We’ll start our session at The Botanic Gardens Cafe, where you can enjoy a complimentary cuppa, settle into meaningful conversation, and connect with others who truly understand the joys and challenges of caring. After coffee, those who wish to continue can join us for a peaceful, optional walk through the stunning gardens. Whether you choose to walk or simply stay for conversation, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
Each week, we’ll explore a new topic - from managing stress and boosting social connection to finding balance, celebrating wins, and discovering small ideas that can make caring feel a little lighter. If you’re seeking support, community, fresh perspectives, or simply a calm moment surrounded by nature, we warmly invite you to join us.
A complimentary non-alcoholic beverage will be provided by Wellways.
