Join Us on April 19th when Easter gets weird (in the best way) at Peep This Mid-City!, a one-night-only spring variety show packed with live music, puppets, outrageous costumes, and local Mid-City love.
This isn’t your average Easter event — it’s a variety show gone rogue, spotlighting three of Baton Rouge’s boldest bands, a puppet show full of dust bunnies and interactive games and contests that’ll keep the energy hopping all night long! Come dressed as your favorite easter themed character to win cash prizes and goods from local Mid-City businesses!
Live Music Line Up (In Order Of Appearance)
Mathello – A creative and dynamic instrumental power trio blending progressive rock, funk, soul, and R&B into a sound that is both energetic and immersive. Featuring Taylor Matherne on bass, Julian Civello on drums, and Dakota Civello on guitar, Mathello delivers a one-of-a-kind, engaging, and inspiring performance.
Sariah Storm & The Mysteries – Led by Sariah Sizemore, this rotating ensemble embodies the rich traditions of jazz, blues, rock & roll, and swampy sexy cabaret. With Pat Frederick’s soulful guitar work, Taylor Matherne’s deep bass grooves, and Mike Terito’s dynamic drumming, this band delivers a soulful, electrifying set that blends early blues, jazz, and original music.
Judge Genius – A genre-blending powerhouse from Baton Rouge Featuring Sam Terito, Mike Terito, Adam King, Paul May, and Brandon Dooley, Judge Genius fuses rock, metal, funk, and alternative sounds into a high-energy, fun, and unpredictable experience. Influenced by bands like Clutch, Faith No More, and the Beastie Boys, their electrifying, humor-infused performances make them a staple of the Baton Rouge music scene.
Puppet Show
“The Dastardly Dust Bunnies” by Frawg Wilson – A whimsical puppet show where a hapless groundskeeper goes head-to-head with a band of clever, chaotic dust bunnies in a performance packed with laughs, tricks, and plenty of surprises!

- Easter Egg Raffle featuring prizes donated by local businesses, restaurants, and artisans, candy, cash, and other fun surprises!
