📅Friday
⌚8:00 - 10:00pm: Musicality & Expression Masterclass
Discover your unique movement style and deepen your connection to the music. This workshop will guide you in exploring your personal expression, boosting self-confidence, and enhancing body awareness.
❗(pre-requisite: Must be comfortable leading or following these Brazilian Zouk fundamentals - basic step, lateral, bonus, and soltinho)

⌚1:00 - 4:30pm: Connection & Communication in Brazilian Zouk
Learn how to refine your movement and physical adjustments to feel comfortable in your own body while dancing. By improving your self-awareness, you’ll also develop clearer, more effective communication with your dance partner.
This workshop will consist of 2 x 1.5 hour classes with a 30 minute break in between.
📅Sunday
⌚2:00pm - 5:30pm: Teamwork & Problem-Solving in Social Dance
Building on the concepts from Friday and Saturday, this workshop dives into the complexities of social dancing. You’ll develop your perception, adaptability, and ability to troubleshoot challenges, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable experience on the dance floor.
This workshop will consist of 2 x 1.5 hour classes with a 30 minute break in between.

Artist Bio
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Pedro and Ana
have together more than 20 years of dance training.
with a background in Contemporary Dance, Jazz, and
Classical Ballet. This diverse training has deeply
influenced their mastery of Brazilian Zouk, adding a rich
level of artistry, expression, and precision to their
performances and teaching. With extensive experience
teaching at ‘Alex de Carvalho’s Dance School in Brazil,
they have refined an engaging and accessible teaching
style for students of all levels.
Now based in the USA, Pedro and Ana are known for
their dynamic performances and impressive
achievements, including multiple podium finishes in
Brazilian Zouk dance competitions, they have earned a
reputation for delivering world-class instruction while
promoting Brazilian Zouk culture globally. They are
highly sought after for their classes and have taught at
premier Zouk festivals in Canada, the USA, Brazil, and
Europe.
