this event is a voluntary donation and bicycle ride event to support a local food pantry! We will meet at Barleys 10:30am likely rolling shortly after 11am for a short ride to Hyveee grocery store on W, Brawdway where participants will purchase nonperishable donation items and load them into a vehicle to be donated to Care & Share food pantry, or donate using Venmo directly to the pantry (posted in the discussion). Feel free to drop off donation items from your own cupboard also. Anyone may choose to participate with or without a bicycle. My wife and kids will be in the parking lot with signs accepting donations between 10:30/11:45. Bring a snack and beverage to enjoy while socializing in the parking lot while we wait for shoppers to perches donations we will then ride to the pantry for delivery then return to Barleys for lunch after the rideif you like. All bicycle rides are voluntary and you are responsible for your own safety ride at your own risk.
