Pearl Harbor: A Soldier's Journey | Lahaina Benefit Concert
December 7, 1941, a date which will live in infamy. As the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor unfolds, one soldier hears the call to serve. Join the Choral Arts Society of Frederick as they present a soldier’s journey to Pearl Harbor, Friday, November 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jack B. Kussmaul Theater on the Frederick Community College campus. The story is told through heart-stirring music and image. Our solider encounters rapidly changing landscapes from peace time through the attack, and back home again. Featuring songs of the era as well as stunning new works, the music and lyrics will transport you to a time when our nation faced its greatest challenge for freedom. NOTE: Due to the graphic images of the attack on Pearl Harbor, this concert may not be appropriate for young children.
Benefit Concert: All proceeds from this concert will be donated to the victims of the Lahaina, Maui, wildfires which devastated the community on August 8, 2023. Get your tickets now and support a great cause!
