About this Event
Visit Peaks Island in Portland, Maine, and watch Backyard ADUs move modular home boxes across Casco Bay and onto Peaks Island, set and waterproof a 3-family affordable housing project for Home Start. The project will be fully net zero with a solar array installed by Backyard ADUs.
Please RSVP to watch aspects of box setting, roof pitching, and waterproofing from a safe distance. Backyard ADUs staff will be onsite to answer questions. (Please don’t distract the construction workers!) This is a 'come and go as you please' event.

This event is fully outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Food is not provided at this event but feel free to bring a bag lunch or stop at Unruly Girls Cafe (open from 7am-2pm) just off the ferry to grab lunch.
