As many know by now, I'm training to run BOTH the Berlin Marathon (Sept 21st) and the Hennepin Hundred ultramarathon (Oct 4th) within 2 weeks of each other. Maybe a bit crazy... I'll give you that. ðĪŠ I just love the joy of pushing through something hard and enduring to the completion of it! AND, I don't just run for my own benefit but for the benefit of others: for clean water. There are few greater joys than to do something you love for a purpose larger than yourself. ðĪĐWill you help me bring life-changing clean water to kids in the developing world?!
I'd like to invite you to "join" this event in any (or all) of 3 ways:
1) Presence ðĪ - If you're able to be at Wheaton Bible Church in person on August 22nd, I'd LOVE and deeply appreciate the support of having people physically there for any portion of the day. I'll be slowly running with stretches of recovery walking all day in loops of about 1 mile... which makes it super easy to join me for a couple laps, right?! ð
2) Gift ð - As people who are greatly blessed, we have the opportunity to greatly bless others. Specifically with access to clean water! ($50 = clean water for 1 person for life. Sponsoring a child for $39/month makes an even more profound impact!)
