About this Event

Peacenik Collective Presents A Season for Peace and Love

2nd Annual John Lennon Memorial Peace Concert.

$5.00 from each ticket sold goes to the Vancouver Food Bank.

December 8th 1980, the world was shocked to learn that John Lennon had been brutally gunned down. This December will mark 44 years since that sad day. Lennon was a messenger, spreading the word of peace, love, respect, dignity and tolerance.

More and more today we see our world in social decline, we see the great divide and we feel it's up to all of us to be the change we want to see in the world.

John Lennon was not the first person to sing of peace, but Vancouver-based group Peacenik Collective is determined he shall not be the last.

Join us for a celebration of peace, love and community featuring original songs from our collective body of work, some favourites and John Lennon classics.

Peacenik Collective is a superband, composed of dedicated, performing songwriter/musicians drawn together by a mutual desire to create and share music that connects people to one another and to themselves. Cherelle Jardine, Marc Gladstone, Scott Jackson from Stone Poets, Bruce Coughlan, Gord Maxwell, Greg Stuart have created a project that uniquely reflects their common interests, peace, love and community!
