We invite the community to come together at the Digby General Hospital for a peaceful demonstration in support of the Digby Hospital ER and to stand against the ongoing cuts to healthcare services that are affecting our community. This event is being organized for success so we need those who intent to come out to register by clicking the ticket link in the event post.This demonstration is a response to the ongoing reductions in services at Digby Hospital and the rotating closures of our ER which have severely impacted the quality of healthcare in our community. The closure of the ambulatory care clinic, along with other imposed rolling closures of the ER leave the community without the essential medical support they deserve. We are demanding that the provincial government halt these cuts and ER closures and restore proper funding to our hospital to ensure that Emergency and other healthcare services are accessible to everyone in Digby and the surrounding areas.
