Each May during National Police Week the Elkhart Police Department recognizes and honors all of our police officers who have died in the line of duty with a Peace Officers Memorial Service. This year the event will be on Central Green Elkhart on Friday May 9th at 5:00 p.m. We invite the community to join us in this recognition of sacrifice and public service. The event will feature performances by local students remarks by the Chief of Police as well as a community speaker.
