Mindfulness Group for Older Adults Looking to Nurture Well-Being and Mental ClarityAbout this Event
It’s a one-hour session held once a week, over the course of 12 weeks, with a short break before repeating. Research suggests that mindfulness practice can support the well-being of older adults by slowing the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, enhancing focus, managing emotions, improving memory, promoting relaxation, and aiding in pain management.
This group is for you of the following statements apply to you:
- You have been told that you have a risk of developing Alzheimer’s/ want to prevent even the possibility of Alzheimer’s in the future,
- Are an older adult of 55 years of age or older,
- Or if you just want to improve your quality of life.
