The title of this 6 week series is inspired by the Wendell Berry poem, "The Peace of Wild Things" - an invitation to connect with self, with the gifts of nature and with the places of light within and around us, when the weight of the world becomes heavy. Our yoga and meditation practice can be an opportunity to, as the poet suggests, "sit in the grace of the world and be free." If you find that you are navigating a number of "wild things" in your life or in your world, this is an invitation to slow down, to breathe, to reflect, to invite gentle movement and space for stillness, and to offer yourself grace and compassion in whatever season of life you might be facing, with emotional balance, and strength of body, mind and spirit. Join instructor, Heather Seton weekly for a luxurious 75 minute beginner-friendly practice incorporating accessible movement, seated and reclined meditation, and breathing practices to meet the season. All are welcome.
Classes for this series will occur on September 7, 14, 21, 28 and October 12, 19, and purchase of this course includes all 6 class sessions. We strongly encourage participants of this series to consider our 3 week Yoga Nidra Mini series on Oct 8, 15 and 22 at 12:15-12:45 pm with Chris, for an exploration of another restorative wellness practices to support emotional balance. These two series will culminate on October 26 with a special workshop with Heather and Chris blending these two instructor's gifts with an offering of Yoga Nidra and Reiki! Stay tuned!
$85 for the whole 6-week series is available for registration now and participants of the entire series will receive a 15% discount to the workshop on October 26. About a week before the class starts, we will open up individual class slots if there is still space remaining, at $20/class. The class pack is your best value!
