Welcome to the Peabody Jazz Combo Series! Get ready for a night of amazing jazz music at the Eubie Blake National Jazz and Cultural Center. This show will involve 4 small ensembles performing 4 short sets – 20 minutes per group.
The Peabody Jazz Department is committed to presenting jazz through community engagement, student empowerment, and pedagogical foundations. The Peabody Jazz Combos series spotlights student performances of jazz classics and original compositions under the direction of Peabody’s All-Star jazz faculty, including Tim Green, Richard Johnson, Allison Miller, Warren Wolf, Fran Vielma, Charenee Wade, and Sean Jones, the Richard and Elizabeth Case Chair of Jazz.
