EESS Education is back - this year collaborating with QUT Robotics Club and QUT Aerospace Society!Have you ever wanted to design your own PCB? Do you want to learn about everything from simulation to soldering and everything in between? Well come along to the EESS PCB Workshop Series for 2021 Semester 1, where you will be guided from start to finish in designing your own PCB.
The series will feature five workshops over the next 6 weeks, taking you through the entire process for designing a printed circuit board. These workshops are specifically catered to beginners, so if you have no experience with circuit design, that’s totally fine! If you’re an experienced student, that’s also totally fine! We’ll be going over fundamentals, so this is a good opportunity to fill any holes in your knowledge!
This workshop series is also ideal for EGB220 and EGB240 students looking to gain additional insight into PCB design.
Workshops will be starting in Week 3 on Thursdays 12pm-1pm, and Fridays 11am-12pm, in S905C. We will also be recording these sessions for release if you cannot attend either session. Spaces are limited so please indicate on each Facebook event if you attending.
Workshop 1 (Week 3): Circuit simulation in LTSpice
Workshop 2 (Week 4): Board design using EAGLE
Workshop 3 (Week 5): Catch up session
