Piedmont Blues Preservation Society will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Sept 7th 2025 in downtown Greensboro, NC at Greensboro’s newest live music venue, Ziggy’s Greensboro. Reuniting generations of supporters is the goal of this party & will complement the volunteer-run nonprofit's oldest program, the 2025 Road to Memphis PBPS Blues Challenge. The 40th Anniversary Kick-off party will start at 4:00pm with free entry for current members, followed by the annual Road to Memphis Blues Challenge where the best Blues acts in the Triad will compete to qualify for the International Blues Challenge held in Memphis, TN in January of 2026.
Calling All Musicians: Are you a Blues artist, a rising star, or a seasoned pro? PBPS invites you to step into the spotlight and showcase your passion. Join a vibrant community that celebrates the soul of Blues music. Blues Challenge entry fees for a Band are $50, Solo/Duo are $40, and for Youth are $20.
