1. Please sign up through Tournament Software. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any PBCA board member.
2. The deadline for entries and payment is May 1st at midnight. Participants who back out after the deadline are subject to a partial credit or partial refund. Participants who have not paid will have their entries voided.
3. Events may be combined or canceled. The tournament committee will inform you if the events you signed up for will have too many or too few participants.
4. All entries are subject to leveling and adjustments. The Leveling and Tournament Committee reserves the right to relocate players and/or entries. Disqualification will be enforced if entry is deemed inappropriate (e.g., sandbagging). Refunds are not available for disqualified entries.
5. The tournament format will depend on the number of entries per event (elimination or round robin).
6. Please be advised that we will enforce default times. If a participant has not arrived or is not on the court ten minutes after a match has been called, the match will be defaulted.
7. Overflow parking is located at SGI-USA El Monte Buddhist Center, 3401 Rio Hondo Ave Suite #168, El Monte, CA 91731
NOTE: Keep in mind while we aim for accuracy, all entries and leveling of players are subject to change, so please refer to the daily updates.
TOURNAMENT FEE:
*Includes:
- Entrance fee and court fee
- 1 shuttlecock per game
- Meal tickets
- Kalayaan Cup shirt (first 75 paid entries)
$65 - For high school students and18 & younger.
$80 - PBCA Members.
$90 - Non-PBCA Members.
*$35 - additional fee for 3rd event
