🌱 LIVE ROOTS REGGAE MUSIC EVENT 🌱 Payoh Soul Rebel is a singer from Madrid (Spain) and is one of the most respected artist in the Spanish reggae scene.
His versatility and advanced vocal skills are loved by the general public and many roots reggae fanatics. He began his career with the help of Alberto TarĂn (member of the New York Ska-Jazz Essemble) in the Jazzin Reggae Band. Since then, he has been performing in the whole country, in many festivals like Rototom Sunsplash, La Concha Reggae or International Dub Gathering, also performing as the opening act to reggae legends like Lee “Scratch” Perry. In 2018 his first album came out on Cool Up Records and in 2019 two unique reggae-jazz collaborations alongside Ales Cesarini were released. Payoh has continuously been releasing an impressive amount of high quality singles by the likes of many selectors, soundsystems and crowds around the globe.
The Rootskank band has played with no other than Michael Prophet, Al Campbell & many more. Expect some rocking, skanking, rootsy and soulful vibrations with these top notch musicians. They are ready alongside Payoh Soul Rebel for a first time ever show in Belgium!
