About this Event
The adorable cats from Tabby's Place, a cage-free haven for cats from desperate circumstances, are visiting the Pennington Public Library! Young readers can sign up for a 15-minute time slot to read to a cat. Studies show that children who read aloud to animals on a regular basis become more confident, skilled readers. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours- this is the perfect opportunity to practice your reading skills with a furry friend by your side.
Recommended for ages 5-10. Please register for one 15-minute reading session per child.
Cats in the Aged to Purrfection program are regularly examined by the Tabby's Place veterinary staff and have all received current vaccines and disease screenings.
