Listening to our body and releasing tension helps us as humans move out of the fight, flight, fright or freeze response into rest, repair, and digest mode. Once we are in a state of relaxaation and calmess you can then create a shift in your dog's state of calm and peace and in that place of shared tranquility there is an opportunity to bond deeper with our dog.
Our dogs are empathetic beings that read and respond to our energy and emotions. When we are in stress they take on that stress as well. Taking time away from the chaos of everyday living to connect with our dogs in a relaxed manner can be incredibly beneficial on many levels for both you and your dog.
BENEFITS OF A SOUND BATH FOR DOGS:
Many of us know the many benefits that Sound Baths offer as as humans. Our dogs can receive a wide range of both physical and emotional benefits as well. Physically, the vibrations can help relax their muscles, improve their sleep and alleviate pain, especially in senior dogs or dogs with chronic conditions. Emotionally, sound baths can reduce stress and anxiety, calm hyperactivity, reduce reactions to loud noises and promote an overall sense of security.
Many dog owners after a Paws & Relax session comment that their dogs become more relaxed, less anxious, and exhibit improved behavior and they can greatly benefit like humans from regular sound bath sessions.
The beauty of doing this self-care together with your dog is it also creaes bonding time in a calm relaxed environment which our animals crave from us to feel secure and safe.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING:
MIX & MINGLE TIME WITH DOGS & OWNERS - We allow time to mix and mingle and allow everyone to meet, allow the dogs to sniff around a little and get to know each other which helps to calm the energy of the space and help to settle the dogs down faster.
BRIEF INTRO - Once everyone is settled in safely and comfortably, Kirsten & Lacey will share brief intro and explanation of what our session looks like as well as the benefits of creating time to practice self-care alongside your furry loved one.
RELAXATION EXPERIENCE -Relax back and be guided through gentle somatic healing with gentle movement, breath, meditation and sound healing to relax, de-stress and bond together with your dog.
At the end we will have time to share and connect and answer any questions and say our goodbyes.

WHAT TO BRING
Yoga mat/blankets/pillow anything to make it cozy for you and your dog. You will be lying down outdoors on the ground with your dog beside you. Feel free to bring their favorite blanket or dog bed if it is small due to space.
We will be outdoors at a private residence. Dress comfy and casual and layers depending on weather.
*GUIDELINES FOR BRINGING YOUR DOG
Dogs who attend must be on leash, you will be required to sign a waiver indicating your dog is up-to-date on vaccinations and is non-agressive and is ok in group settings and friendly and comfortable being around other dogs and humans.
Should your dog get out of control or express aggressiveness towards humans or other dogs, you may be asked to leave the session to ensure the safety and calming energy of the group. You know your dog best so we ask you to use your best discretion.
Dogs that deal with alot of stress, anxiety, pain, ptsd or iolder ailing dogs can receive alot of benefits and healing from sound baths.
ABOUT KIRSTEN
Kirsten Korot as been practicing for over 20 years in the Los Angeles area as a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner and Intuitive Coach. In 2012 Kirsten founded Nature Nurture Experiences™ to connect people in nature with and animals alongside sound healing and mindfulness practices. Amongst the unique experiences she offers is her popular Healing Day & Sound Bath with Wolves and her Women and Wolves programs that also help to raise funds for a local wolf sanctuary. She continues to create unique experiences and events that bring people together with sound healing around dogs, wolves, and other farm and exotic animals working with various animal events, rescues and sanctuaries.
Kirsten’s sound baths with dogs have been featured in the Netflix Series “Pet Stars”, on KTLA News Live and on “Wags to Riches” a series featuring animal loving entrepreneurs.
