Giving you time in the week to rest and restore. Let go of the stresses and strains, allowing you to take a pause, reset and rejuvenate and continue your week with renewed energy.
When we are stressed, overworked and our energy resources feel depleted, our bodies are often in fight and flight mode, which means our sympathetic nervous systems is activated. When this is activated over a prolonged period, it can negatively impact our overall health and well-being.
When we are engaging in the ancient techniques such as yoga, qigong, sound therapy, mediation and breathwork our body is in parasympathetic mode, which is our rest and digest state. This is where our body and mind can heal, rest, restore and rejuvenate.
Connect with nature and enjoy yoga, qigong, and relaxing sound bath, with delicious vegetarian meals, luxury pod camping, each with a hot tub as well as a shared sauna (medical restrictions apply) and natural environment. Experience the magic of sitting in stillness in the beautiful Tepee with its gentle lighting and warming campfire.
What’s included:
• Tea/coffee/cake on arrival
• Yoga sessions - 90 minutes in the evening
• Qigong session - 60 minutes in the morning
• Sound Bath to help you fully relax and unwind - 30 minute
• Two course evening meal with a glass of wine
• Breakfast - A typical breakfast is cereal, fruit, yoghurt, followed by a warm breakfast, tea/coffee/juice/water
• Hot tub to each pod
• infra-red sauna
Only £160 per person based on two people sharing.
As the site is small and intimate, the rooms are on a share-only basis (no single occupancy available), with a double bed in each pod (4 available) and the cottage which has two bedrooms with a double bed or two single beds, bathroom, and downstairs living area (additional fees apply - on request). Myself and two friends have just been on a fabulous overnight Yoga and Sound Bath retreat with Samantha Lavery, in Escomb at the Gables-Pod Luxury Camping. Many thanks to Sue and Mike for their delicious food and excellent hospitality and to Sam for her three brilliant sessions. The weather was brilliant to spend time in the hot tub and wandering around the beautiful garden. Just what you need to re-charge the batteries. We can’t recommend the Gables highly enough.
