We are excited to announce our next PAUSE FOR PETS Craft & Vendor Fair to benefit our community’s pets and the life saving work of the of the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. Make sure to join in on the fun on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd at the LEWISTON MEMORIAL ARMORY from 10am to 3pm.This year will feature an impressive line-up of exhibitors offering a wide variety of items for the whole family – including your favorite furry friends! We will be joined by Healthy Androscoggin, plus we’ll have face painting and our famous GAHS Raffles. Tickets can be purchased to win prizes donated by our exhibitors, and a 50/50 will be held. There will also be a FREE door prize drawing for all attendees.
Volunteers and staff will be on hand to offer information about the shelters programs and services, and it’s the perfect time to ask about getting involved with the shelter yourself! The GAHS Info table will also feature an assortment of shelter swag to help show your support of the work we do.
We will be collecting physical donations to support animals in care and our Pet Pantry. The biggest needs are cat food, litter, bleach, paper towels, high efficiency laundry detergent, soft pet treats and training treats for dogs.
Admission is free and the building is handicapped accessible. Plenty of parking is available. Unfortunately, privately owned pets are not permitted.
