About this Event

Join the staff of Gotham Whale on a benefit whale watch in honor of our visionary founder Paul L. Sieswerda aboard the American Princess, leaving from Sheepshead Bay Marina. All proceeds will benefit whale research, education, and conservation around NYC, and help Gotham Whale build a sustainable future.

On the way out of the channel, we will travel slowly, and with time to hear testimonials from Gotham Whale's Executive Director, Zack Klyver, and Paul’s son PJ, in honor of Paul. Naturalist Celia Ackerman will provide excellent information about the whales and the conservations issues that they face. We will be watching humpback whales and looking for dolphins, seals, seabirds and other marine life.

Entry includes a yearlong membership to Gotham Whale. Also enjoy a 50/50 raffle and fun giveaways. Gotham Whale Merchandise will be available to purchase as will food and drinks, at the galley.
