Based in Nashville, Paul McDonald is an American singer-songwriter. Placing 8th on the tenth season of American Idol, he has also fronted and toured with various bands, including The Grand Magnolias, Hightide Blues and a short stint in an Americana duo. Now performing with his band the Mourning Doves, Paul recently released his first album in more than six years, So Long To the Dark Side, with the electric single, Dark Side, leading the way. Paul also started the One Big Love Festival in Nashville, bringing together many great artists from Nashville and beyond, involving the community and giving back to various local charities.
