Paul Basile is the frontman and primary songwriter of the formerly New York City based, indie rock band Great Elk. With Great Elk and as a solo performer, Basile has released numerous records and toured internationally. Since the release of Great Elk's excellent 2015 LP "STAR STUFF" and Paul's move back to Bethel, Alaska in the same year, he's mostly been quiet, instead focusing on other pursuits like dadding and sled dog race management. But in recent years Basile has resumed some limited touring and Great Elk is currently hard at work on a new record.
