Join us at the 13th annual Patterson Park 5K & Homebrew Contest to help us fulfill our mission of growing global citizens in Baltimore! The day will be packed with various activities, including a 5K race (strollers and dogs welcome!), a 1-mile fun run (also family/pet friendly), a beer tasting featuring the 2024 Patterson Park Homebrew Contest, delicious food, local vendors, and live music. Patterson Park 5k and Fun Run Details:
- Early Bird registration starts at just $20! Hurry, prices go up November 5.
- Fun Run starts at 11:00 am, 5k starts at 11:30 am
- Strollers/dogs welcome at both runs!
- Starting location: Patterson Park (Outside the Virginia Baker Rec Center)
- Early Packet Pick Up: Time and Location TBD
- Day of Packet Pick Up: beginning at 9:00 am at Patterson Park Public Charter School
Patterson Park Homebrew Contest Details:
- Early Bird beer tasting tickets start at just $20 - Baltimore's most affordable beer festival! Hurry, prices go up November 5.
- Your tasting ticket covers admission to the beer garden and a tastings of all beer entered into the home brew contest.
- Tasters will vote on their favorite beer in four categories: Hops, Malts, Lights, and Specialties and the brews with the most votes win first, second, and third place prizes! There are also prizes for the overall crowd favorite, the brewers' choice and the people's choice.
- The beer garden will feature great food and local vendors, live music, and lots of fun!
- Beer garden entrance is at the corner of E. Baltimore St. and N. Belnord Ave. - right next to Patterson Park Public Charter School.

9:00 am: Packet Pickup Starts
11:00 am: Fun Run Start
11:30 am: 5K Start
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Beer Garden featuring Homebrew Tasting/Contest, live music, great food, and local vendors
Proceeds from the event benefit B More Global, a local nonprofit providing a year of extracurricular global programming for Baltimore City students culminating in a fully subsidized trip abroad. The field trip is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students to experience a new culture, visit historical sites, and engage in a cultural experience that will enrich their lives forever. It incites curiosity and develops our young people into empathetic, action-oriented global citizens who can communicate and connect across a wide variety of cultures.
