"From bedrock to building: my exploration of geological and architectural landscapes with Professor Patrick Wyse Jackson"
A reflection on a shared research journey connecting the fabric of Ireland’s historic architecture to the native geology and makers who shaped it. Through Making Victorian Dublin and STONEBUILT Ireland, we trace stone from quarry to building, revealing the intertwined stories of geology, craftsmanship and collaboration that define our architectural and geological heritage.

"My journey riding in the sidecar of Patrick Wyse Jackson’s research career
A tour through Marcus’ and Patrick’s bryozoan research collaborations from light stable isotopes in Ireland, Greenland and Estonia to functional morphology of colony-wide feeding currents.
Reception will take place following lectures at 19.00 - 20.00 - Main Foyer, Museum Building, Main Campus, Trinity College Dublin.
