Join us for an inspiring evening with pianist and scholar Patricia García Gil, Artist in Residence at the Cornell Center for Historical Keyboards. A prize-winning performer and internationally touring fortepianist, Patricia is known for her blend of artistic brilliance, innovative programming, and deep commitment to widening access to historical performance.
Her recent highlights include solo appearances with the Smithsonian Academy Orchestra and Ars Lyrica, performances at major early-music festivals, and a celebrated album of Pauline Viardot’s complete piano works. Beyond the stage, she serves on the boards of leading historical-keyboard organizations, co-hosts the International Fortepiano Salon, and co-directs HerClassical, an open-access platform elevating women composers.
