Los Angeles three-piece Patriarchy explores themes of sex, power, subversion, and death. Drawing inspiration from interests in everything from Ancient Greek Mythology to 80's slasher films, Patriarchy is a heavy dose of Mulholland Drive with a sound that is equal parts ABBA and NIN. Patriarchy is spearheaded by NSFW filmaker Actually Huizengaand completed with fellow platinum blondes, her vampiric boy boys, "The Drummer" and "The Guitarist" (they wish to remain anonymous to protect their families) Dazed describes Patriarchy as a "wholly disconcerting experience...in the best way possible."
