Celebrate the elegance of French apple pastries in this cozy, hands-on baking workshop! In this immersive 2.5-hour class, you’ll learn how to work with puff pastry to create two timeless apple desserts: the delicate, open-faced Tarte Fine aux Pommes, and the comforting, flaky Chausson aux Pommes—France’s answer to the apple turnover.
Our expert instructor will guide you through slicing apples beautifully, making a smooth compote, shaping puff pastry, and achieving that perfect golden finish. You’ll bake, glaze, and leave with bakery-style treats ready to impress.

Plan to arrive 10 minutes before class start time. Class will start promptly at the listed time.Important: Participants who arrive more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed to join the class and will forfeit their tuition. No refunds or rescheduling will be permitted.
Refund & Transfer Policy
NY Cake Academy classes are not eligible for refunds, however classes are transferrable.
All bookings receive a confirmation immediately after purchase. Please notify if you do not receive a confirmation email. Students are responsible for ensuring they receive and read their confirmation email.
If you would like to change a class date, email at least 48 hours in advance. Include the full name of the registered student, class confirmation number, and the class you wish to transfer into. If we do not receive notice and you do not attend, your payment is forfeited. We allow one courtesy makeup for a missed class; if you miss your makeup class, your tuition is forfeited.
If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other circumstances beyond our control (power outage, facility issues, etc.), we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a refund to your original form of payment.
If we decide to run the class and you choose not to attend, no refund will be issued, but you will receive a credit valid for 1 year toward a future class.
