The January 2025 in-person CLUB meeting in McLean VA, will be SUNDAY January 12. Start time is 9:00am.Guest Speaker TBA. After the tailgating segment, we will feature a raffle for a tool chest made by the late Tom Law that was purchased at our Damascus Annual event then donated to our group by a gracious buyer.
We are selling raffle tickets (in person only) at the January meeting and will then announce the winner before the speaker presentation. Tickets are only $10.
The tool chest is extremely well made with several types of joinery visible. Tom was an extremely talented woodworker, aside from a saw expert sharpener with a rich legacy.
We will also have a drawing for a $100 Woodcraft gift card for all new or existing members who have paid their yearly dues. The drawing will include any members who pay at this January meeting.
Membership is only $15 which serves to help cover costs for facilities and refreshments.
As always, we will use the upper lot only for tailgating. Please park in the lower lot if you are not planning to set up a table. Start time: 9:00am for tailgating. If there are enough consignments to have a mini-auction, it would take place after tailgating, approximately 11am.
After the tailgating and mini-auction, The club will feature the guest speaker’s presentation and demonstration. Check back regularly to see more information.
