Growth means different things to different businesses. For some, it’s about increasing scale; for others, it’s about improving efficiency. For many, it’s a combination of both. This workshop helps business owners to identify what growth looks like for them and to pursue it in a structured, realistic way.

Participants work through a practical growth planning framework, starting with their existing business data. They build a clear picture of their current position, explore viable growth options, and set achievable targets. The focus is on clarity and sustainability, helping growth decisions feel informed and manageable. The workshop is suitable for businesses at different stages and does not require advanced financial knowledge.

10:00 – 10:30: Arrival, registration and coffee

10:30 – 11:20: Session 1: Clarifying what growth means for your business. This session explores the different ways a business can grow and supports participants in defining what growth might look like for their own business and how it could show up in practice.

11:20 – 11:30: Break

11:30 – 12:20: Session 2: Using your core business data to plan for growth. This session focuses on the key data already available within the business and how it can inform growth decisions and support more precise, more confident planning.

12:20 – 13:00: Networking Lunch

13:00 – 13:50: Session 3: Building your baseline and testing growth options This session centres on establishing a clear starting point for the business and exploring how different growth ideas could shape performance, resources, and day-to-day working.

13:50 – 14:00: Break

14:00 – 14:50: Session 4: Setting and tracking growth targets that work for you. This session covers how realistic growth targets can be set and how progress can be tracked over time, so growth remains visible, measurable, and manageable.

14:50 – 15:00: Summary, key takeaways and close

15:00 – 17:00: Optional networking and 1:1s with your tutor
