As the days grow colder, gather with us to bask in the warmth of ancient runic wisdom. Embark on a mystical journey into the Northern traditions this winter and join us for this enchanting workshop!
This workshop will be cozy and small to ensure a personalized learning environment, so reserve your spot soon—we’re sure to fill up quickly!
Begin with our three-session “Path of the Runes” Workshop, where you’ll be introduced to the Elder Futhark’s 24 runes. During this foundational course, you’ll explore each rune’s name, shape, and core meaning—learning how these ancient symbols were historically used for writing, divination, and magical practice.
Then, continue with our two-session “Path of the Runes, Next Steps” Workshop, which builds on your foundational knowledge. Here, you’ll practice more in-depth reading techniques, discover how to cast runes for spellcraft and divination, and learn to combine rune energies through binding. By working with the Elder Futhark—originating around the 2nd and evolving through the 8th century AD—you’ll connect with the rich tapestry of Norse and Germanic heritage while gaining the practical skills to read and interpret runes in a modern context.

- Location: The Enchanted Candle Apothecary, 129 E. Main Street, at the corner of E Main & Cherry St., Lebanon, OH 45036
Please bring a set of Elder Futhark Runes or purchase one at the shop. If you’re bringing your own, ensure they’re made of material suitable for casting onto a table.
Note: Each session weaves together vital layers of runic wisdom, so it’s important to complete them in order, building a proper foundation of knowledge to fully embrace each new level of enchantment along your runic journey. As a result, you must complete Session One before moving on to Session Two, and complete Sessions One and Two before registering for Session Three.
