👖✨ Upcycle Your Jeans – A Creative 3-Week Workshop at Hamilton Prop House
Learn to upcycle a pair of jeans using a range of modern and traditional textile techniques — no sewing machine or prior experience required! With just an iron, needle, thread, and a curated selection of fabrics, you’ll breathe new life into denim and transform everyday jeans into wearable works of art.
What You’ll Learn
Bring your old ripped jeans or a new pair (baggy, non-stretch denim works best!) and your instructor will guide you through:
- Painted designs
- Visible mending & patching
- Appliqué
- Embroidery
- Printing
- Decorative detailing
- And how to creatively “revive” denim with personality and flair

You’ll receive a beautifully curated selection of fabrics, including:
- Authentic Handmaid’s Tale textiles for appliqués & patches
- Vintage fabrics and lace

Workshop Format
🗓 Three weeks of instruction
📅 Wednesday evenings, 7:00–9:00 PM
💼 Includes:
- All tuition (6 hours total)
- Your complete take-home kit
- Use of all studio tools and supplies during class
- Instructor guidance each week
