About this Event
Join us for a BBA Pastors Retreat at Camp Wo-Me-To this fall. Zach Schlegel, senior pastor at First Baptist Church of Upper Marlboro, will be our speaker. The event will begin with dinner on Friday and conclude Saturday afternoon. Meals, activities, and lodging are included in the fee.
Purpose: Fear God, Not Man! This slogan defines our posture in ministry. We want pastors to be encouraged to serve for the glory of God, and fight the idolatry of pleasing man. This retreat will create long-lasting relationships which will fuel Gospel ministry in our region. Additionally, we trust this will be a refreshing getaway.
Activities and Nature: There will be plenty of time and space to rest and enjoy each other's company. Activities will include a camp fire, hiking (with an option to hike to the "King and Queen Seat"), fishing in pond with canoes and paddle boats (no license required for fishing), archery, and a team building course.
Pay By Check: Use promo code "check" -- If you want to pay by check and avoid the online fee, please send a check to Baltimore Baptist Association, 610 Middle River Rd., Middle River, MD 21220. As you purchase your ticket, use promo code "check."
Scholarships: We do not want any to miss this retreat due to cost. If you need a scholarship, please email [email protected].
Who is Invited? Pastors of Baltimore Baptist Association churches. This includes additional pastors/elders whether on staff or lay. Attendees must be currently recognized by their church as a pastor/elder.
Speaker: Zach Schlegel, pastor and author of Fearing Others: Putting God First.
