Click this box to verify you're not a bot. Your password must be 35 characters long and contain six numbers, two special characters, and three emoji. Do you want to enable 2FA, whatever that is? Do a backflip while you solve this puzzle. What card am I holding behind my back?
Online security is hard and getting locked out of your accounts is just the worst. Come in, sit down, and learn about how different security measures work and get practical advice for managing your online accounts. Learn how to recover an account, learn how to tell if an account even can be recovered, and, most importantly, learn how to avoid getting locked out in the first place!
Every class will start with a breakdown of what online accounts are, how they work, and how you can keep them organized. From there, we’ll explore specific challenges the students in the class are facing and discuss common security measures and give tips for keeping your online accounts safe...without making it impossible for you to use them.
This is a beginner-level class suitable for ages 16 and up. You don’t need to bring any materials with you to the class.
