About this Event

Are you curious about the outdoors and looking to have a fantastic day of adventure with your family? Then Passport to the Outdoors is for you! Join Rural Action on Sunday, May 3 at Strouds Run State Park Beach from 12 – 4 p.m.

Rural Action will host exciting activities about the great outdoors and our water resources. Participants can learn about aquatic critters up close, do nature-related crafts, go fishing with take-home gear that we provide (ages 15 years and younger), go canoeing on the lake, do some guided exploration to see what you can find and more!

This event is open to children of all ages and parents are encouraged to participate! In order for children to canoe on the lake (canoes provided), a parent or guardian is required to go with them.
