ABOUT LA COCINA
Founded in 2005, La Cocina is a nonprofit food business incubator based in San Francisco. Its mission is to cultivate working-class food entrepreneurs by providing affordable commercial kitchen space, industry-specific technical assistance, and access to market opportunities. Today, 90+ Bay Area businesses make up La Cocina’s community, and the organization supports 500+ entrepreneurs annually through its local programs and worldwide consulting services.
La Cocina entrepreneurs have won industry awards, media accolades, and appeared consistently on top restaurant lists for their amazing food. They've also created jobs, built assets for themselves and their families, shaped local economies, transformed inequitable industry practices, and created communities that are joyful, connected, and nourished.
