Conductor Candidate Darko Butorac - Darko Butorac has established himself as a conductor in demand with orchestras throughout Europe and the Americas. He currently serves as the Music Director of the Asheville Symphony and the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, and has guest conducted the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Neuss (Germany), the Rubinstein Philharmonic of Lodz (Poland), the Xiamen Symphony (China), and the Slovenian Radio Symphony Orchestra, to name a few.
Masterpiece Series concerts feature Musically Speaking pre-concert talks, insightful and entertaining looks into the music you are about to hear. These free 30-minute talks begin one hour prior to each Masterpiece Series concert.
