Passport to Prosperity annually recognizes five immigrant and refugee changemakers for their significant economic, cultural or social contributions to our communities and the State of Iowa.Passport to Prosperity also recognizes a Welcoming the World recipient. These individuals are recognized during Passport to Prosperity Awards Gala. The celebration reflects the cultures of each recipient through food (dinner), international flags, décor, and entertainment. Since 2002 Iowa International Center has honored more than 90 community individuals.
