The Passport to Nepal program continues with a film screening of "Everest Green" at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oct. 3 at the Bob Burke Screening Room, COM 120.The documentary follows the first ever expedition by 10 experienced Sherpas to clean up the slopes of Mount Everest. Introductory remarks will be provided by Xiaobing Li, Ph.D., professor at the UCO Department of History and Geography.
The UCO Passport Program was established in 2004 to promote the university community's understanding of different cultures through events featuring a different country each year.
