About this Event

This home was showcased in last year's PassivHaus Trust Open Days. It was at a very early stage of a deep retrofit, and provided an insight into what's needed to transform a bog-standard 1970s bungalow into a beautiful, energy efficient home.

It's now complete, and I'd like to share my experiences not only of the build but also what it's like to live in a super insulated, highly airtight home (2.0 ACH at the interim air tightness test!). As a former architect, I have a good insight as client and home owner, and can answer all those practical questions you're wanting to ask.

I'll provide a short presentation of the project, a tour of the building and plenty of time for questions and discussion.
